• The San Francisco Urban Iditarod in San Francisco, established in 1994(!).
• The Vancouver Shopping Kart Race, raising hell since 1997.
• The Ann Arbor Shopping Cart Race, tearing it up since 1997.
• The Portland Urban Iditarod, running since 2002.

And those who have come after...

• The Washington, D.C. Urban Idiotarod, racing since 2006.
• The Seattle Iditarod, cavorting since 2007.
• The Los Angeles Urban Iditarod, romping since 2007.
• The Phoenix Aziditarod, carousing since 2007.
• The Cinciditarod, beginning in 2008.
• The Iowa City Iditarod, also starting in 2008.
