Being able to have an awesome and accurate photo record of your event will not only help spread the word about you event, but it will also be valuable for social media, connecting with other local organizations, and be a visual aid when describing what kind of event you want to put on.

Make sure all of your photographers sign waivers to not only be at the event, but also that you can use their photographs in promotional materials, with proper photo credits. Keep an accurate list of photographer’s contact information as well as any social media sites they may use for easy photo sharing.

After your event, proactively reach out to every contact you collected.  Ask them to send you copies for your archives, and links to their published works so you can cross-promote them as artists while ensuring you have amazing records of your epic event.
