For the Coreganizers, this is the fun part. It takes planning and attention to detail to make this work. Everyone must be of good will and able to work and play well with others. Note that not everyone is well suited to the work of the Core. The principle of Radical Inclusion suggests that we find good roles that are good fits. But, the Coreganizers have to operate kind of like a basketball team – able to throw the ball around just knowing who is there to catch it.
A Coreganizer-in-Chief is good to make sure everyone is on track, and to notice early on when someone could use some help. Here are some awesome tools developed by the CHIditarod folks. Some will be more complex than you need just starting out, but they reflect lessons learned and the awesome growth from an idea to full-fledged mayhem.
